Grandfather has a 41A that is stuck in 2nd gear. You can push the clutch in and move the shifter forward and back. It will go forward if you push it back and not go anywhere if you push it forward. I have not seen it yet but he was messing with it today and got fed up. I do not think he took the cover off yet below the shifter so who knows.
