Bug on the generator, Red wire is from the gen or A terminal to the gen post on the VR. Green wire is from the field post to the field post. Also one wire goes back to the field post on the light switch assembly. Very bottom screw. Other long wire is from the VR bat post to the right ampmeter post with the ampmeter facing down. On the ampmeter facing down. Left post is wire from the battery via probably the hot post of the starter switch. Right post contains the long wire from the VR battery post, the coil wire, and the wire to the light switch assembly. On the light switch assembly, very bottom screw is the field screw with the wire from the field post of the generator. screw to fuse is the input to the light switch from the right ampmeter post. Upper headlight wire is off the right side of the resistor for dim lights. Lower headlight wire usually went to the rear light for full bright. Wire these as you wish. This assumes positive ground.
