Just wanted to says thanks for the info about the best type and the proper filling spot for the transmission. From the info I recieved here I am more sure that it is a 660 because the serial number plate is wore off. The tractor does have the triange shaped filling hole by the gear shifter, torque amplifier, planetary drives, 540 PTO, single set of hydraulics, and a six cyclinder diesle. The tractor is in real rough shape but it does run not to bad, can't really asked for more when I found it parked in the bush on a quater of land that we bought. But most of the tin is gone, somebody cut the front off and put in a rad that is to big, and the generater was missing. But I have been able to get the glow plugs working, wired in a new alternater, had to replace most of the gauges except for the tach but I think I got a line on a new one. So now I am building a set of tire chains out of old tie down chains off my winch truck so I can get around plowing snow. This place is great for finding new info.
