Ralph,I have a cub demo,104886(see july/august'98 Antique Power Pg.5!),but I'm not sure exactly which casting No. you are looking for.Where generally, would it be located? let me know and I'll see what this one says.On the subject of value, let me tell you about my experience!I went to a tractor show, looking to find out about the history/worth of these white ones, and found a fellow with a white "C" .I casually asked him why he painted his tractor such a color and he launched into a detailed spiel about his super rare, incredibally collectable tractor which had been appraised at a price which would make Bill Gates gag.He said that I should take a good look at that tractor because I'd never see another"ORIGINAL DEMO"probally in my lifetime. When I produced pictures of what I now thought was the only other demo in exsistence,he immediently asked if I wanted to sell.Although I had no intention, (I sort of inherited it from a family friend for 30 years of farm/house maintenence.)I asked him what a tractor like mine would be worth he did an astounding about-face ,my tractor and by association yours too are apparently almost worthless,as he offered me only 500.00,if I delivered it to the show,450.00 if he had to be "bothered" to go drag it away!(less yet if I kept any of the 8 attachments.)I felt insulted at this offer and said no thank you, but in retrospect I may have been too hasty, if I had been a little more savvy I'll bet I could have gotten him to throw the Brooklyn bridge into the bargain to seal the deal! So there you have it, demo's are only valuable if you have one to sell, and worthless to the buyer! Thanks for reading my drivel!

Today's Featured Article - The Rescue of a Fordson F - by Anthony West. Introduction I live in the UK and have for many years restored Fordson tractors (in the main model N's). I have also restored and shown model F's, E 27N's, Field Marshall Series 2, David Brown Cropmasters and the old rey Fergeson T 20. At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p ... [Read Article]
