Today my partner from work and I replaced the original tires on my 1949 Farmall H with some new, well at least new to her, tires we got for almost nothing. We also replaced the sediment bowl and drained the fuel tank and put some new super unleaded in her. The we took to dragging her around to start her and to no prevail she wouldn't start then we put new plugs in her and nothing then we found out that the on/off switch was off and we pulled her about 4 feet and she popped right off. She runs like a champ. The only thing I need is a carburetor kit the diaphram is shot. She was missing the lights on top and the original battery box and the side pulley for running a hammermill. Come to find out who ever took all the stuff off put it all in one place it was in one of the sheds at the farm and now there is only the task of putting her back together and painting her. I am so proud of what has been done so far and things will only get better....
