Howdy I have not been able to keep up reading all the posts and replies as I had been. For the past few weeks I barely get a chance, computer keeps acting up. Anyway I was going to reply to Jim N. and ask why he thought this guy might have a crack in the block, when the guy said that the engine had a COMPLETE overhaul at a cost of $2500 bucks. Luckily I went back and reread posts from the last few days and discovered that I had two different posts mixed up--oops. Anyway the one that I remembered incorrectly was from Dr. Bert on the 27th, and I thought the guy with small droplets of anti freeze on the spark plugs had just spent $2500 on his overhaul. So just for the sake of discussion, who would return an engine so dirty that a 5 inch diameter depression crack could not be seen and have the guts to charge the customer $2500 bucks? Jim N., I bow to your superior knowlege and your ability to read the posts correctly and supply expert and friendly help. Bob S.
