Leftover Parts after Overhaul

Just completed the overhaul on the H and everything turned out great. I did end up with three thick 7/16" washers which look like they should go on the head bolts. Trouble is I do not know which bolts they should have been on. The parts manual I have is not any help. Anyone know where they go? The other question is that I drained the transmission/differential on the H then refilled. On the 5th gallon the oil started pouring out of the side hole where you check the oil level. It should have taken a full 6 gallons. Did I forget somthing? I know there is another drain under the PTO shaft. Should I have opened it up also? The IH manual is not real clear on this procedure. Thanks in advance for any advice here.
