I know when you ask for points and condenser at the auto parts store they don't ask whether its a 6 or 12v so I'm assuming they work for either voltage. But, just to be sure I'm checking with you guys.
Got the M going today after replacing pistons/rings and pretty much going through everything related. I'm pretty sick of the old thing after two weeks of part time wrenching on the freezing ground in N MN.
Lots of details left but it sounds very good. Used the old head gasket so a retorque hopefully will cure some tiny bubbles i see in a couple spots on the block.
But my respect for the guys who designed these tractors is always high. I have a 39 B that I use regularly for mowing, grading, towing a wagon....it just couldn't be better. (yes they did make Bs in 39)
