When hydraulic pumps or motors start to leak thru the shaft seals, the bearings or bushings are usually worn along with the internal components of the hydraulic unit. In most cases with low output pumps, attempts to rebuild these units are usually a costly exercise in futility resulting in poor pump performance and limited hours of useful service. Recent price quotes for the Super M pump are as follows: Case-IH dealer at $650, Central Tractor/Fisco at $600. The live hydraulic pumps for the Farmalls are very expensive for the amount of hydraulic power obtained. My son rebuilt(new cartridge) a John Deere 2640 hydraulic pump on one of our orchard tractors for $550. The cartridge was purchased from the local JD dealer and was an axial piston pump. Typically JD closed center system. Good luck Ray
