Old friend ask Me to help Him get His A runin'....He'ed gotten in in bad shape, Had to move off the Homeplace, A sat outside for Five years, engine was rained full and stuck...I drained the engine, pull the plugs, poured ATF in the cylinders, every 3 or 4 days I'd bump the starter, two weeks past, still stuck, sprayed a can of Kroil in spark plug holes, three days later starter broke it loose....I changed the oil filter, put in 4 guarts of 30w ND oil.....next problem...no fire to plugs...This A has a Magneto, last Magneto I worked on was on My Lincoln 200 Weldin' machine 20 years ago, I know it needs a new cap, I didn't find a rotor when I pulled the cap, I see a small gear looks like the rotor might go on. Crankin' the engine over, I don't see any fire at the points... Can Yaw'all please take Me to school on this one, what all do I need to replace, what do I check for and How? Thanks in advance for the help ( the mag. don't click when it is crankin' ) Wild Bill
