I just installed a saginaw 3 pt. on my 45 M. I ordered the hitch last Monday. They shipped it on Wed. and it arrived in Oklahoma on Friday. That"s faster than UPS or Fed X. I put it on in about 2 hours with a little help from my wife. I was even able to keep the original drawbar intact. Fortunately I have a compact tractor with a loader to do some of the lifting. I bought hoses today and put them on this evening after work. I was anxious to test out the liftall pump so I hooked it up to a grader blade and tested it. It picked it up and held it fine. I then put every suitcase weight I had on the frame of the blade, about 1400+ pounds, plus the weight of the blade. It picked it up without any hesitation and held it when I let off the lever. I was very impressed. I did not think it would work that well. And yes the front end came off the ground when I tried to drive ahead. If anyone is thinking of putting a 3 point on their M the Saginaw hitch is amazing. Absolutely nothing light weight about it.
