Rick- Sir, thank you for the excellent advise. That gets into part of the problem, that present day equipment owners fantasize that they can do proper maintenance... Yes, now-a-days it is a deep pockets user game. Us old tractor freaks are out of it and slowly our group figgers it out. The real heart breaker is that the younger people are still trying, fighting a stacked deck, and there ain't much us old geezers can do to help. What happenened to the no till - low till movement, where the 8N was supposedly all the tractor needed? Yes, the time machine idea has lots of merit for corrective actions. Let me know when you got one and are booking flight time. IHank
