The H is done! 3 year project. New engine purrs like a kitten. Will idle down smoothly to about 300 rpm. Hi-Low lights, new rubber,tubes, gauges, brakes, seat, all ignition components, seat shock, starter, generator, carb, muffler, manifold, ex pipe, governor, steering wheel, steering ujoints, bushings, wheel bearings, radiator, water pump, belts, fluids, distributor, axle seals, side plates on engine, head, valves, pistons, rings, sleeves. The works. Fenders, pto shield, dust shield, light bar toolbox, rear light.All the tin got exceptional bodywork, primed and block sanded many times. Not a ripple or pinhole anywhere. Mike CA porche paint:) 8 coats of paint, wet sanded with 1200 machine compound and polish.
Just south of 6000 dollars, and 150 hours labor in it. Have a buyer at 5000 :)
Anyone want an all new 1949 H? Want to get the SHII into the shop and I need the room.
Need one part. The shield or guard in front of the brake pedals walked out of the shop. Anyone have one of those lying around? I saw it a month ago, painted, and ready to install, but wasn't sure where it went. Now I know and it's MIA.
