I have located a McCormick-Deering tractor in a field near me, along with some other old farm junk. I am trying to track down the property owner and make an offer on the tractor. It has probably been in that field/orchard for 50 years, judging by the condition and ages of the other parts in the area. I will have to hack away some bullbrier to get a better look at the chassis, but the McCormick-Deering looks to be a 10-20 or 15-30. The tractor's air cleaner has a metal ID tag that gives a manufacturing year of 1922. The tractor seat and side panels appear to be missing. One rear wheel is perforated slightly. Is this tractor worth restoring and how much might this tractor be worth? I would like to take this project on. Any help anyone can give me to get started will be appreciated.
