Tractor Vet, I have heard in the past that the early 1256's had some motor problems. Can you speak to this? I would assume that whatever the problem was that none of them would still be operating that had not been repaired. How much better of a tractor is the 1256 versus the 1206? I am considering one or the other. I think I remember you mentioning in the past that extreme care needs to be taken when overhauling either engine. In other words you don't want a shade tree mechanic working on these engines. I think they are both very good engines but not easy or cheap to rebuild? Is that correct? I appreciate any comments or suggetions you might have. Thank you in advance.
