Brandon, You can get lots of HP out of anything, the secret is just start throwing $$$$. The 400 was the replacement for the Super M and was eventually replaced by the 560. Perhaps you've heard about the tranny and rear end problems on the 560. That 60 horse engine was to much for the M trans/rear which is what was being used(same as a 400). If you are pulling most won't let you use a turbo unless it was stock. If for field use get equipment sized for the tractor or rearend/tran problems.
