Hi all, a friend of mine bought a w4 tractor from another friend of his. The tractor was running a little rough at the time he bought it. He has put new plugs, wires, points and coil in the mag. I gave him some help along the way, but i really have no idea about any thing mechanical.I did read soemthing about timing marks on the pulley to set the mag,, We found on small notch in the pulley toward the motor but no other marks to be seen.. where are the marks for timing the mag? Also interested in knowing what the carb screws should be set at.. There are 3 screws on the carb.. one on the bottom, one to the upper left and one top center area.. I know i have asked a couple of questions here in the past and got replies and it was great.. I would really appreciate any help offered.. I really dont know a lot about the old tractors but it is fun to learn as you go, and it is a good way for a couple of friends to put in a saturday afternoon... thanks in advance for any help.. you guys are awesome
