Hugh Mackay said: (quoted from post at 02:28:05 05/17/08) Ben: The PTO unit shouldn't be too hard to find, that same unit was used on 300, 400, and most 350 and 450. They show up ocasionally here in classifieds.

If your tractor has the internal PTO driveline from flywheel back. All you need is the unit and coupler shaft. When I say coupler shaft, there is a short shaft splined and couplers for each end. That short coupler shaft will not be in tractor, PTO holds it in place. I know this as PTO went in my 300. We removed unit and short shaft put a plywood cover over hole and continued to haul wagons with it. That short shaft may be your kicker. While actual unit is the same, that shaft is different length in the smaller chassis 300 and 350. I Think I'm right, however it's been a few years since I dealt with this, I had both large and small chassis tractors. I do know we had PTO from 300 in a large chassis tractor.
Your list of possible donors would also be the 300 utility tractors plus the 460 and 560. Very very common PTO setup used throughout the late 50's early 60's by IHC
