buy ( not very expensive for a cheapie) or borrow a compression tester(gauge) to test the compression of all the cylinders. if the number 2 cylinder is very different then that is your problem. Also pull valve inspection plate, behind the carb, off and check to make sure all valves are working properly and not stuck open. also do you have the firing order correct? 1342 I believe. ( it is on the block ) let us know how it works...p
