I have an engine out of a 140 that i am puting into a farmall c. i replaced all of the gaskets and rebuilt the carb and went to start the tractor. the engine ran but a little rough. i tried to adjust the carb and get it to run smooth. i never had any luck so i asked a friend for some help. he couldnt get it either. so as a test we pulled some of the spark plug wires to see if maybe it was one of the cylinder. well it was not just one but two. when number 1 and 2 cylinder wires are removed the tractor continues to run like it has. i tested crompression all of the cylinders are between 123-127. i repleaced all of the ignition parts. i took the manifold off and it is clean. but when i check the intake # 3 and 4 have more suction then the others. all of thevalves are adjusted and the engine was running as of 5 months ago but was in a fire so i got it. any help would be greatly appericated. sorry for thelong and hard to read post but i am at the end of my rope i am not sure it i should just let is run on 2 cylinders and paint it green or what.
