Like Nawlens suggests you'll need close to 25 HP into the generator to get the ~11 KW of electric back out of it. And the H engine is rated at 24 HP if I recall - so it should work except possibly when the genny is loaded to ITS maximum output.
A few considerations:
1 - If you're gonna direct drive the genny it'll need to be a 4 pole gen head and the engine will have to run at 1,800 RPM to get 60 hz. Be certain your engine can deliver full power at 1,800 RPM!
2 - Alternatively you can use a cheaper 2 pole genny and run it at 3,600 RPM for 60 hz - but you'll need to belt drive it from the H engine to get 3,600 RPM.
3 - Unless you are not fussy about generator frequency the RPM droop (difference in RPM no load to full load) on the stock H engine governor may be troublesome.
