what you have is probly a 4-1/8 bore,and if it,s a m block i found out if you bore a m block to use 4-1/8 sleves,i have found that the boring bar goes threw to the inside at the bottom.if it was bored right and a .125 sleve in there should be no problem,or one i used a .085 chrome moly sleve and that is as strong as the .125 steel sleve.and if it,s a S-M-400-450 block there is more than enough meat in the bottom, so re-measure it agin and see if it,s a 4-1/8 bore.
