Hey Guys,
A friend of mine (with no knowledge of old tractors to speak of) has been talking to me lately about my purchase of my Super-C from Sam. Questions like what it has, power wise, what i'll use it for, etc.
His step-dad has mulled over the idea of buying a small tractor to do work around their house (an acre or two, tops), but really has no idea what tractors cost...he was looking at a newer (comparatively speaking) Kubota or similar. My friend and I got to talking, and he kinda likes the idea of getting a tractor too. I hit the local classifieds to see what was available locally.
There's a 1946 A advertised, about an hour from here, as being "Great shape, good mechanically, good rubber, have mower and ground plows". Now, it's my understanding that the normal A's don't have hydraulics...how would one operate ground plows without a set of hydraulics?
I haven't seen the tractor, though I plan to give the seller a call and perhaps arrange a get-together sometime to look over the tractor. He's asking $2100Cdn for it, everything included.
