That will save the case from getting blown out. When I got mine done, you could feel the difference in how smooth it rolled and operated! Do you have a part number for that pilot bearing? And a pic would be nice also. The bearing guy said there are several configurations of that bearing to choose from.
The old bearing is MU1205 and the replacement has a better cage to hold the bearings according to my neighbor.
