You mentioned to me in a previous thread to put vinegar in the cooling system and let it sit for a week. Some time ago this was discussed the vinegar flush, and it was suggested to do a 50/50 with water vinegar. I tested that 50/50 on a piece of scale from the radiator and it didn't do anything to it. The way you wrote your note made it sound like you wanted me to fill the system up with 100% vinegar, work it through, and let it sit in there for a week.
Did I misinterpret that?
I bought some Prestone cooling system flush as well, and was going to use that. But I'll do whatever I can to get as much rust out as I can and cleaning the whole thing up before I put in clean water and anti-freeze.
