Mike, First off your steering problem is most likely not hydraulical. Have someone move the steering wheel back and forth while you watch the action of the tie rods and steering cylinder under the front of the tractor. You will find that there will be some loose tie rod ends and the bushings in the cylinder support will be worn. The hydraulic dip stick is located next to your left foot when setting in the tractor seat. It does not hurt the tractor to overfill this system, infact it is recomended to do so when you have extra equipment like a loader. You should be able to get a service manual from this website and an operators manual is always a plus to have. These are great little tractors and can do a lot of work. Hope you enjoy yours. PGN.
