Got the 650 Diesel Home and want to get it running. Has set for about 8 years but has been turned over regularly with crank. Turns over kinda hard but thats a big motor to crank I guess. Here is what I have done so far. Changed oil and filter, flushed radiator that was pretty dirty, changed fuel filters and cleaned housings and ran new fuel through bleeder valves. Got power to the points and cleaned points and plugs. Cleaned carb lines and drained some new fuel through. All the fluids except oil were drained from the tractor when it was parked. So what else should I do before trying to fire it and should I try to pull it and start it on diesel first. Manuals are on the way but I wonder which way the fuel lever is on gas and which way on diesel. Also there is a knob that says fuel on it that turns a rod in the carb. What does that control? I have a M-Diesel but a lot of things are different on this big brute. Thanks for any help. Migraine
