The fuel drip, well, that's been on my list, just moved to the top. But my electrical system is too simple, can't see how I have a problem. All I have is a #4 battery cable coming from the 12V battery to the starter switch (this is a B, remember) and another from the battery to the frame (trans cover bolt). The sparks are definitely coming from the switch, I'm wondering if when I cleaned it, I just made the problem worse. There is a spring in there, maybe when I give it a good bump (on rough ground) the switch is bouncing internally? The quick fix is disconnect the battery once it is started, which is what I will do if I need to start it again before I get the switch fixed. Does Case/IH still have those switches?
