my dad used to mow the fields with our old Farmall A, it worked fine for about an hour or 2, then it would start to sputter and just shut off. You could run the starter and it would crank and crank and crank but the engine would not fire at all. We"d have to wait 2 or 3 hours before it would start again. Any ideas what this could be?
