Charlie, In the mid 50's when backhoes started becoming popular, International did not build a industrial type backhoe loader tractor. They only had farm type front loaders. In order to cover the construction market, International offered the 300 Utility from the factory with the customers choice of either a Pippin backhoe/loader, or a Wagner backhoe/loader. Quite a few of these were sold before International started building it's own industrial backhoe loader somewhere around 60 or the early 60's. Harold H
