Give me a ping at staylor48 ATT verizon DOTT net, and we'll see if we can get you going. I was hoping to refer you to a schematic that BobM has, but the only one he has for your tractor is for a mag ignition and doesn't show the connection through the switch to the coil, which, I think, is where your basic problem is. Still, you can go to his page (I've linked it below) and go to pic 14 and print it. It doesn't deal with the coil, but it will help. I've got a schematic here for a SuperC that will be wired the ame and we can check you out. I suspect in the end it's going to be something real simple, but (obviously) real critical. What you need to check all this out are two tools -- one really but two are better). One is a test light, the screwdriver looking gizmo with the wire coming out of the butt end of the handle, a pointy probe at the tip and a light bulb inside the handle. The other is a mutimeter that will show you whether you've got continutity where you should. (You can check for voltage with the multimeter, too, but I find the test light a lot handier.) If you want, give me a call tomorrow, and we can walk through what was suggested down below (all good advice) and see what we can find, and gofrom there if we need to.
