Pre production tractors used a few different seat types. Think they used slot in top by regular production but you never know. If tractor is a early one from 39 the serial # may be stamped in frame. Original engine serial # would probably matched tractor also. Round pipe seat started between tractor serial # 15000 and 16000, can't remember exact # without looking. Thats in 1940. If it is a early one with something different, Guy Fay or WHS may be able to help.
