Two ideas: using a right angle drive from a bushhog etc, with a reduction to about 60 RPM drive a sprocket for gilmer style cog belt (I think cam sprockets from a single type of OHC engine would be perfect). From that going in a straight line place sprockets that are far enough apart to allow a tub to be located between each with a bit of wiggle room. Idea 2: Under the sprocket, on the shaft going down, make a shear pin based two disk clutch that has holes for a small Pencil sized stick. driving through this will prevent breakage of components when the pudding is ripe for its 1/2 hour of cold tempering after removing the dasher. Holes at differing distance from the center, and different "sticks" would be used to adjust the force. Put a pivoted support under each tub so the tub can be lowered from the drive (while the other tubs continue operating). (I teach product design at St Cloud State University, and enjoy this to the max) JimN
