if it was a stage 2 super that was a good deal. if it was a stage 1 they paid a premium. The 53 stage 2's are a little harder to come by and make the pricfe go up more then the 54 when all were stage 2 that year. was it a stage one or 2? you can tell if the battery is under the seat or not. if its under and orignal its a stage 2. Also you will see hydrolic res where the battery would normally go (under the gas tank).
