I just went through some back posts and read the thread on a transmission oil heater for an 806. IH didn't offer anything for those tractors but on the 5x88 series tractors they did and it's still available on the MX Magnum's as well as some of the Maxxum's. An MX Magnum holds over 50 gallons of hytran and has more cast iron in the rear end than in all of an 806 so if a heater will work on one of them it should work on an 806 if you can find one to fit. I think the key to making one work is going to be plugging it in right after you get done using the tractor when the oil is already warm so all it has to do is keep the oil warm and not warm everything up. With that said the 88 series tractors and newer with the powershift transmissions and wet clutches do not work well until they are warmed up so they offer the heater for them but I don't think there would be much to gain with a heater on an 806.
