Assuming the motor is still the original one that came with the tractor the number stamped on the engine block, I believe on the manifold side towards the front there is a small pad machined flat with the number stamped on it. I believe the number on the motor is supposed to match the serial number plate, at least thats what I have heard and thats the way my '35 F12 is.... Is it still the original paint? If so and it is grey in color it is a pre 1936 model to at least get you in the ballpark. hope this helps and I am positive that if any of this is wrong you can be sure it will be corrected by someone who knows alot more about these things than I. :)
