I just bought an 850 W generic block heater at NAPA for approx $60. The old one had been on there 25+ years and was starting to poop out. Dont want a fire so bought a new one. We had made a bracket out of 3" channel iron and bolted that to the farme of the 706D and then clamped the barrell of the heater in that. has worked all these years. Usually give it 2-3 hours to waram up before starting. Gene
