Johnny: Nothing wrong with TA, most of the problem was people. IH should have designed a device that gave everyone who didn't read and heed the manual, a belt on the head as they stepped into the operators seat of a TA equipped tractor. I'll also give you another fact. Most of the folks the critize TA have never owned, been on or operated one. The folks that have actually buggered one up, usually never say anything, they've finally read the book, and are too ashamed to admit what they did wrong. Then of course you have that group not smart enough to know what they did wrong. Get the manuals and read them. There must currently be a dozen threads on TA in the present 16 pages of discussion here at YT. There is a 1,000 more threads in the archives. There is enough material in there to keep you reading for a year. Only one subject that has been discussed more than TA, and that is Farmall H hydraulics.
