Wheatland or "Standard" means non-adjustable wheels, the tractors were designed for pulling trailing implements, not planting or cultivating row crops. I don't believe they were equipped with fast hitch from the factory, but have heard of fast hitch being adapted to the 60 series. In the 70's and 80's the distinction between row crop and wheatland diminished, and the wheatland models were eventually dropped. As row crop tractors increased in HP, from 60-80 to 100, 150 and 200 plus, there was little use for a wheatland tractor. Those who had no use for mounted implements could buy a row crop with only a drawbar. In the 50's in south Texas where I grew up the W/WD9 standard tractors, and those of other makes were the largest wheel tractors. If a farmer wanted more power, he bought a crawler tractor. The crawlers have largely been replaced by the big 4WD wheel tractors, it could also be said that the 4WD tractors replaced the wheatlands. (I am excluding the modern agricultural Caterpillars from this, there are always exceptions) Long answer to a simple question. Should have stopped with the non adjustable axles.
