I totally disagree!!!! the tractors were made to run off of the cheapest gas back in the 30, 40, 50, 60's and that was when the cheapest gas was about 97 octane!!!!!! I still run premium to this day and the plugs stay cleaner and it runs better with more power because of it! I even run it in my lawn equipment just because of it being a cleaner burning fuel! I know it is a waste of money as far as the newer equipment, but the older things will always get premium!!!!!!!
