first off id like to thank everyone for the help so far. here's the new problem. i got the old f-20 runnin the other night. ran ok at idle but pops and coughs anywhere else. ive had the carb apart (zenith)and on and off several times and still no luck. first question is there is a passage in the bore between the idle passage and the highspeed. is this a blind hole or is it supposed to be open to somewhere? Seccond ?, i decided im gonna helicoil the threads in a few of the sp holes as i cant get them to seal. Anyone found a cheaper place than napa to get 7/8 - 18 helicoils? at over a hundred bucks for a kit of 50, im not real excited about it. Thanks again.
