Different shroud? I believe you (there is no point in doubting D Slater) but I just had the radiator off one of my SMTAs. The shroud had been butchered by a previous owner near the generator pulley. I had a spare shroud in the barn and replaced it. I bought the shroud a number of years ago with this swap in mind. It probably came from a M based on the salvage yard where I bought it. It looks the same and fits perfectly.
