If all you have to do is just go "pick it up", in other words, it's free, by all means go grab it quick before it gets melted down for scrap! If on the other hand, you are gonna pay for it and are trying to come up with a fair value to offer, the posts below will give ya something to go on. If the motor's stuck and it doesn't have any rare options, scrap value is a fair price...also...if the owner is just trying to clean their place up and wants it gone, you might offer a little less....it'll cost ya something to go get it and you're helping them out at the same time, so offering less than scrap value isn't out of line.
