Hello everyone. I'm back with another question. I have a 1937 McCormick deering T20. I just recently got it running. I did nothing major her. Just a major tuneup, new hydraulics, new manifolds and carburetor. I know the engine needs rebuilt. I have very little information to go by in identifying the correct engine size. I have numbers that are stamped on the side of the block. FM3089, one that is cast into the block 2396-D. with a serial number ST 7763. Can somebody direct me in the right direction as to what size motor I have. And is it possible, with a new kit. Can I increase my horse power. I know the motor needs rebuilt, as it goes through as much oil per hour and gas. Well maybe not that bad. But close to it. Thanks for any information. merv in ca.
