Jay: Your tractor should have camber on those front wheels. Can't tell you exactly how much, but it should be noticable looking at the tractor 50' to 100' away, with the loader up.

On the clutch issue, does your tractor have TA? If so you best get a manual and adjust the clutch and TA to the letter and by the book. Close does not count with these. Bear in mind the transmission not stopping could be pilot bearing, but you should adjust the clutch first, basically because it's the no cost fix.

Those points along with all other ignition parts are still available from CaseIH. In fact I wouldn't use anything but CaseIH ignition parts. None of the ignition parts for these old IH gassers are great anymore, but at least the points from CaseIH are the right length to make proper contact. At least I've run across a lot of mismatched, don't fit aftermarket ignition parts. It could well have been the fault of the buyer. Carb parts are much the same, I saw a carb kit the other day, I don't know what it was for, but it certainly didn't fit the carb the guy was trying to install it in. He realized this about half way through the installation.
