I am adding cultivators to my Super A and know some of the parts were painted blue and some black. The lifter arms for the impliments on mine were blue and I bought some "Ford Blue" at Tractor Supply thinking it was a close match. Then I got to wondering if it was and that maybe the "Old Ford Blue" they had would be closer, it was a lighter color blue. Any Ideas? Also the gang arms, clamps, spring tips, shovels, were all painted black, at least on mine. Flat black or gloss? The sweeps I know they say were varnished but I'll paint them black and I guess the hillers and plant protectors as well. You know you think you have it all planned out and know just what color to paint everything until the final moment and you you second guess your choices.
