Th e problem is more than likely just the Hi-Low shifter in the range cover. Take the seat and whole shifter assembly out as directed earlier, Now towards the rear of the opening you made from all the removal, there are 2 flat straps with a 5/16 bolt holding them on.The one towards the center is the HI-Low shifter the other is the reverse shifter. Now one or both of them will most likely be very loose and this is the problem sometimes you can just remove the strap and flip it over and reinstall with red locite (the way the flat sided hole was punched it is tapered turning it overmay tighten it up)If not the Cheap way is to center the strap in the slack and weld it to the shifter shaft. Which won't cost anymore to someday fix right because the shifter shaft is already worn out anyway. Don't weld the reverse shifter though, just the HI-LOW
