Yep thats a classic sign of a intake leak. First take a socket and try and give all the nuts a little tweak. Besides carb cleaner you can take a propane torch and dont light it and turn it on and point it around the intake and head and see if you hear a difference. While running of course. This is exactly what happened to my H when I was a teen I tryed everything from tune up to valve adjust. and one day a neighbor came up and said get me a socket he tightened up the nuts and she pured like a kitten.
