I agree with Jossette, The most likely place is the spool valve. Its job is to prevent flow in that direction when in neutral. Be sure the lever and link on the valve are returning it to center, and be sure the little selector switch is firmly in the correct position for the type of cylinder being used. It is a flat sided knob with a roll pin sticking out that clips under a sheet metal strip. exchanging two valves in the stack may let you know which one is leaking (though it does require removing stuff that is in the road. One tactic that works is to set the bucket down on some concrete blocks when not being used for a few days. This is safer (for guests and children), and prevents continuous pressure on the hoses and seals. The blocks keep the bucket out of the dirt, and allow the unit to be moved if it fails to start.
