Thanks janicholson, that is what I was looking for. I was confused as to whether the gear reduction happened when the lever was "pushed forward" or pulled back. I have been running my tractor now for a week, just picked it up at an auction, with the TA engaged. Just been using the bucket to lift stuff up while erecting a pole barn so no big deal, but will move the lever forward until I start doing some heavy pulling and field work. Thanks for all the replies.
